Perfume Review: Rose In Wonderland by Atkinsons

Capturing the delicate scent of a rose garden in full bloom on a summery morning with the dew drops glistening on the petals, Atkinsons Rose in Wonderland is a joyous and radiant eau de parfum. Its perfectly-balanced floral blend of rose, blackcurrant buds and geranium is offset by the faintest trace of woody vetiver, for a fragrance that evokes the innocent beauty of this most English of flowers in a glorious, unfettered celebration of femininity and life’s simple pleasures.

Rose in Wonderland couldn’t be a more accurate name for this bushy rose fragrance, an intense smell of roses on earthy background. It opens with accords of rose dew and black currant buds, a heart of geranium and Centifolia rose absolute and the woody base of vetiver and crystal amber. This a basically a luxurious rose perfume, no other floral accord that would interfere, is a pure rose scent with a light touch of woods with the vetiver and the amber while the black currant buds adds a fresh green blend that keeps the scent from going way too sweet.

This is basically a fragrance for rose lovers, it has a nice sillage and duration of around 6 hours,  really soft from the beginning till it dries down, it doesn’t go crazy sweet, what I like is how premium the rose oils the brand used, it never goes synthetic while other rose fragrance easily fall in the cheap rose accord.

A minimalist, classy, elegant and easy to wear option for the everyday life
