When it comes to fragrances that are totally different from the rest one brand comes to my mind: Mugler.
In the last months the Maison Mugler has released total new perfumes and renovated their other ranges and the Alien family, including scented candles and the most important a new fragrance: Alien Flora Futura.

Alien Flora Futura features fresh and sparkling notes of the hand of buddha, sweet and floral notes of the queen of the night flower and white amber to create a vibrant and enveloping scent. A Buddha accord opens this ethereal composition, bathing its opening in an enchanting radiance. In the heart, a floral harmony sings as night-blooming cereus petals fall upon a creamy and sensuous base of white amber and sandalwood.

MY EXPERIENCE
This fragrance is a floral version of the Alien family, clearly made for the spring/summer season. I don’t tend to use florals because they don’t really last on my skin or they are just too light almost imperceptible, but this one is different is not heavy, it keeps the light floral needed for warm weather but its long lasting and compared to other luxury floral fragrances this one it doesn’t smell average, is different from the rest as practically all Mugler perfumes, it’s pretty unique. I really loved it and clearly shows that Mugler keeps reinventing itself in a universe where many maisons are running out of creativity.
If you are like me that florals never worked out on your skin, or you don’t like fragrances that are way too sweet or two floral and just need the right balance, then this one would really fit.
