For a couple of weeks I have being trying out some products from Clinical Skin, and American brand that sadly it’s only available in America and Canada. Grounded in advanced clinical science, cosmeceutical formulas, like those developed by Clinical Skin, go far beyond what you’d typically buy in a department or drug store. Synthesizing optimal combinations of superpower ingredients, such as antioxidants, vitamins and proteins used to promote skin health, they’re then stabilized to ensure optimum efficacy.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies (35%). It can be found in the skin, bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments, as well as other areas such as blood vessels, eyes and teeth, together with hyaluronic acid and elastin are the ones in charge of keeping the elasticity in the skin and a radiant young face, but what happens as we get older?
During the last couple of weeks I have been trying out two products from the Vit C range from Rodial, the serum and a face mask and I got very nice results in a short period of time, today apart of talking about these two products I want to share some useful information about the importance of incorporate Vitamin C on your skincare routine and of course try to include as much as you can in your diet.
One of the latest products released by Omorovicza is this Midnight Renewal as the names suggest this is a night-time serum designed to instantly boost the complexion and restore skin’s youthful vitality while we sleep.
In the skincare world Omorovicza is a well established luxury brand an probably the most famous product from the brand is the Queen of Hungary mist, a multitasking face mist that I personally tend to use it mostly in my morning routine. Well now the brand decided to release the Queen of Hungary night mist to add an extra to our night skincare routine, so today we will see what makes an interesting option for our night skincare routine
When it comes to skincare routine I exfoliate my face twice a week, so after that I keep going with a serum and moisturiser although I tend to replace the moisturiser with a overnight mask as I consider them to nourish far better specially after an exfoliation, so far my favourites are the ones from Kiehl’s, this time I tried out the Calendula Petal-Infused Calming Mask. We probably heard more about “probiotics” in food and of course the benefits of a healthy diet but lately in the beauty world we started to hear about them as part of skincare products. To make it simple the skin is a microbiome where you have all kind of bacteria good and bad that your body needs to keeps the balance, the probiotics are live bacteria that support the healthy bacteria in your body and as we age there are changes on the skin pH and microbiome so this is when helping out with skincare products with probiotics might be a good idea, so today I want to introduce one option that is 100% natural and Vegan. Continue reading “Review: Antipodes, Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream”
CBD is an acronym for cannabidiol. It is one of many compounds called cannabinoids that are extracted from the cannabis sativa plant, also known as hemp, for their many different benefits. Even though hemp seed oil and CBD come from the same plant, they do not have the same benefits because they’re not extracted the same way. Continue reading “Review: The Body Shop, CBD Range”

During the last couple of years we started to hear about Hyaluronic Acid applied to skincare products but many times there is a misconception that HA is reserved for dry skin, Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a sugar found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump. The HA within our bodies holds a thousand times its weight in water to not only retain all that moisture in our skin and joints, but also prevent all that moisture from evaporating into the air, now just like elastin and collagen this one also decrease in production as we get older so here is when we have to do our part to estimulate the production, internally as you can imagine our diet plays a vital role, no rocking science vegetables and fruits are in the top of the list, externally we can help our skin with skincare products like serums, creams, masks that keep the skin moisturised, helping to reduce the Transepidermal water loss. Continue reading “Review: Institut Esthederm, Intensive Hyaluronic Skincare Routine”

For so many years I didn’t really pay attention to what I have been using as body cream or shower gel, I have to admit that most of the time I used to choose highly scented products, never read the ingredients list, it was like the only part of my skin that deserved good treatment was my face and totally left my body aside. It was not till I got a bit of eczema due to the harsh products I was using on my skin but also to wash my clothes that I ended up being more selective and lately had an urticaria caused by stress so really had to be careful with my body care routine to don’t make the condition even worst. I love when new type of products show up in the market with new formulas, textures… specially if we are talking about toners, some people consider them unnecessary mostly because they have an inaccurate concept about what a toner does or they tend to think about the first ones in the market that were pure alcohol with fragrance, I remember them when I was a teenager with oily skin and acne and how much damage they caused. Continue reading “Review: Kiehl’s, Daily Refining Milk-Peel Toner”
