This is the latest release from MAC Cosmetics when it comes to primers. A radiance-revealing with Moisture-Reserve Technology, featuring skin-loving ingredients including hyaluronic acid and glycerin for instant skin hydration and luminosity that lasts for up to 8 hours. I’m quite picky with primers so let’s see more about this one.
You know the Christmas season is around the corner when brands start to show up with their festive collections and that’s the case with MAC Cosmetics with the Bubble & Bows Collection but also includes gift options in different prices range.
Stack on infinite layers of volume + length with our new breakthrough formula, which means layer after layer, lashes stay perfectly defined and feathery soft no clumping, no flaking, no smudging. Build customisable lashes to suit your style. This is the new concept MAC Cosmetics came with, quite smart as normally it becomes messy to try a more natural look for a more built up lashes style.
The MAC X Lisa collection by MAC Cosmetics has been created in collaboration with female K-pop artist Lisa.
This collection includes each of her favourite Lisa products with completely new shades inspired by what she loves most. The eyeshadow palette, blush, highlighter, lipsticks as well as eyeliners come in a very striking and pretty shiny purple packaging.
If you ask me about one brand with the best eye shadow palettes out there, well without a doubt I would said Huda Beauty, from the texture, quality, pigmentation to the shades selection. I previously tried two palettes from the brand I was quite surprised by the high quality that not even other top luxury brands have.
Paul & Joe beaute released their Spring 2021 Collection following as always the minimalist and cute Japanese packaging design, the collection is quite simple following the make up trends from the Easters countries like Japan and Korea were they tend to go for the soft and natural make up looks quite similar of how French women like it. Nars Cosmetics has released it’s Make Up Holiday Collection for 2020, a gold collection that I have to say there is nothing particularly new or with limited edition packaging but is mostly focused on travel size products and stocking fillers. Continue reading “Review: NARS Cosmetics, Holiday Collection 2020”
In honour of five years of Huda Beauty at Cult Beauty, the brand released a limited-edition eye shadow palette which stars nine gold-standard shades in three delectable finishes; there are pigment-packed, buttery mattes, metallics that rival liquid gold and shimmery toppers that emulate the decadence of fine champagne. Dotting earthy neutrals amongst the varying tones of the titular shade. Continue reading “Review: Huda Beauty, Gold Obsessions Palette”

With a new Charlotte Tilbury eye palette around the corner I wanted to talk about this one the “The Icon Palette” because one that is actually totally different from the rest that the brand has, it received negative and positive reviews, at the beginning I didn’t pay much attention to it and this summer i found myself using and reusing it a lot so here I share my experience. When Beautyblender announced the release of a foundation I was quite surprised as we all know the brand for the magnificent makeup sponges, so I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when Bounce came up, but after tested it for a couple of days in a row I put my hands up now is one of my favourite foundations for several reason not only the performance. Recently another member joined the family and again another lovely surprise: Re-Dew Setting spray, plus the two new Electrical Violet sponges because you never have enough beautyblenders specially if you work with make up. Continue reading “Beautyblender: Bounce Foundation & Re-Dew Setting Spray”
It has been a while since the last time I used a MAC foundation and normally would be the classics from the brand so when I saw this I noticed I have never tried it before and the name really caught my attention, I’m talking about the Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation. I said many times down here I do have normally oily skin except on winter that could actually turn into dry, another thing I always say is that I hate cakey make up and how I see on the street and even beauty consultants wear an overdose of high coverage foundation, no, no, no. Many of you would say “Elle I want full coverage because I have bad skin, I have acne, rosacea or any other issue” great you can get a full coverage but without making so obvious to others eyes, plus there is nothing more annoying of that heavy foundation sensation on your face, well here we have one solution. Continue reading “MAC, Studio Waterweight Foundation”
It became like almost a tradition that every year Lancôme choose to collaborate with a Fashion House to create a unique make up collection this time was the turn to the young emerging Proenza Schouler, a New Yorker spirit brand. It was released around July, but as this is an Autumn collection I prefered to wait till the actual season arrive to show some of the products I have being trying out. Continue reading “Lancôme x Proenza Schouler Collection”

I have to admit that Charlotte Tilbury is on my top 10 of favourites brands, probably even in the top 5, I really love the concept of glamorous but natural and classy makeup that Charlotte has, and you can see that on her tutorials and all the makeup looks she recreate on famous women. Today I want to talk about one mascara the brand launched not long ago and that I have been loving: The Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Continue reading “Review: Charlotte Tilbury, Legendary Lashes Volume 2”
