Sometimes finding a good SPF for a combination/Oily skin could be tricky, most of them would be too greasy, the would start to melt once you go underneath the sun, if it’s dry touch then the finish is too matte and non natural at all, so today I want to share one that I have been using and already finish: Photoderm MAX Aquafluide SPF 50+ by Bioderma. Continue reading “Review: Bioderma, Photoderm MAX Aquafluide SPF 50+”
Niche perfumery has increased in popularity in the last couple of years thanks to some niche houses that opened up the way for more people to discover them and enjoy alternatives to the massive consume market. One of those brands was clearly Escentric Molecules with the 01. Molecule 01 and Escentric 01 were very popular back in the day, anyone following British beauty youtubers probably remember the hype back then. Over hyped/promoted products tend to put me off to try them out, but then this year I got closer to the brand with the release of Molecule 05 and Escentric 05 and specialised perfume writers and friends who tried it suggested me to review the 01 and 02 range because “they were amazing” So here we are. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Molecule 01 and Escentric 01 by Escentric Molecules”

Almost finishing another year and I will have to do my list of best and worst in fragrance of 2019, and today I want to share my experience with one fragrance that actually was released during the summer time but due to work and being traveling around I haven’t had the time and chance to test it out, Aura Eau de Parfum Sensuelle by Mugler, yes another flanker of Aura, and I said a millon times I’m not a fan of flankers but this house at least puts some effort and releases good ones or at least they smell different and not all the same. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Aura Eau De Parfum Sensuelle by Mugler”
In the last years we have seen the massive production perfume brands releasing flankers after flankers, new versions of what it used to be good perfumes and very few new in fragrances have absolutely nothing new to surprise the demanding and every day more exigent customers, so the niche perfumery became more and more attractive to people looking for something different and here is one of those wonderful niche perfume houses: Floral Street Continue reading “Perfume Review: Wonderland Peony by Floral Street”
If we look at the last trends in perfumery we can notice a good on the packaging and format of the fragrances, like roll on minis, pencils, oils, actually last year Mugler released perfume pencils of Aura, Angel and Alien the 3 iconic fragrances of the brand and these year their released perfuming brushes. Last year I had the chance to get an M&S Beauty advent calendar and there were many things I wasn’t too keen of in the content, this is one of the most over hyped beauty advent calendars, but it’s really worth the money, is it the best option? is it for everyone here we are going to have a deep review of the calendar before the release. Continue reading “Marks & Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar 2019”
One product I tend to run out quite fast is the Facial SPF and I have to admit I only use Body SPF during the summer, but something that worries me is that many people only cares about using SPF during the sunny months when it’s actually a everyday use product during the whole year, this is not only about the skin getting burnt, getting wrinkles in few years is also to avoid skin cancer, so today I want to share with you 3 products from Zelens, a great dermatological brand with very nice formulas. Continue reading “Zelens, Defence SPF 30 & Lip Treatment Oil Review”
This year Rochas decided (perfume wise) to get a stronger presence in the UK, that would include a closer relationship with the influencers and perfume reviewers, so that’s how a lovely bottle of the latest release landed in my hands it was Mademoiselle Rochas Couture. It has been a very long time since the last time I tested a Rochas fragrance and I was really excited when I got it because as we talked many times in this blog and social media, I’m a bit fed up of the over abuse of flankers and the re inventions who end up killing classics of the perfumerie history, and this is something why I love Rochas if they do a flanker it’s only one or two (except the Eau Rochas which are very different between each other) Continue reading “Perfume Review: Mademoiselle Rochas Couture by Rochas”
As I have shared here, I consider myself an extremely olfactory person, I associate immense perfumes with people, moments or memories in a snap of my fingers. I also believe it to be one of my sharpest senses. Having said that, it is extremely important for me to use a memorable fragrance. Normally, I always opt for very hot fragranes; in my opinion, very seductive and feminine. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Wanted Girl by Azzaro”
Today I wanted to bring some affordable perfume ideas that work as good (or better) as many luxury brands and these are Babe Power and Boss Babe by Missguided, I have to be honest and say that I have never shopped anything from there, but their fragrane range called my attention. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Babe Power & Boss Babe by Missguided”

Continue reading “Perfume Review: Stories by Eliza Grace”
On my way to make a list of best spring/summer fragrances options I managed to test Precious Pink Jasmine by Trish McEvoy, I have had few make up items from the brand in the past but never tried any of the perfume range and I was looking for floral options for those who are not fan of “Too floral” perfumes, I was looking for something more delicate, unique in terms of notes and the right balance between floral and sweet, suddendly I remembered this fragrance so I decided to test it and it was a very nice surprise. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Precious Pink Jasmine by Trish McEvoy”
After releasing few collectables Mugler started the year with a new member of the Alien family, I’m talking about Alien Fusion, a floral-sweet Eau de Parfum which seems to be an Alien spring/summer option with that hint of fresh ginger for other it would be suitable for colder months, everything comes to personal taste and skin type, if your is quite tricky with perfumes performance and longevity then this one would suit you perfectly. A new addiction for the Alien lovers and a good chance to make it up for the ones who are not fans of it. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Alien Fusion by Mugler”
Retinol has been used as an ingredient in cosmetics for approximately 40 years. First as a treatment against acne, to later extend its use in the prevention and treatment of wrinkles and age spots, once proven effective as a skin renewal.
How does it act? Penetrating the deep layers of the skin, thanks to its light molecular weight, and stimulating collagen and elastin. What makes it unbeatable is that it also improves the appearance of the outer layer of the skin. It benefits the cell renewal process, so dead skin goes fast and new, brighter skin layers appear, it also regulates the keratinization process to soften the complexion. Continue reading “Murad, Retinol Youth Renewal Collection”
Cult shades give full-face attitude. Powerful Lipsticks with a serious following get full monochromatic colour collections to match including Lipglass, Powder Blush, Matte and Frost Eye Shadow. This basically the idea of MAC In Monochrome, 6 different shades to create monochromatic looks, something not really common to see during these days but with the right colours it could actually look stunning. So today I want to share with you this two options.
Today I want to share with you a brand that is far more affordable than the ones I tend to use normally, but also a VEGAN and ORGANIC option apart of course of being cruelty free, this is Green People.
They have launched some starter packs, this is one is the Superfood and cost around £10, and has three products on it: Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel all of them in a 30 ml bottles, for me is great to travel, for the ones like Christopher this 3 could last very long and you would have a chance to explore into a vegan beauty routine. Continue reading “Green People, SuperFood Starter Pack”

The cold months are coming and for me that means candles and diffusers to make my home a cosy place, and a powerful and delicate fragrance that would persist on my skin. That’s why I tried few items from Björk & Berries, a swedish luxury and ecological brand.
I tried their latest collection: White Forest, a sensual and melodramatic perfume of wood and fresh forest air, an exciting and mysterious scent of the deep Swedish forest that includes birch and pine. White Forest comes in a range of unisex perfume, body care and home products with natural and organic ingredients of the highest quality.
