If we talk about cult beauty products one of them is the Queen of Hungary Mist from Omorovicza, at the beginning I didn’t understand the hype for a face mist till I actually tried it out, the formulation, the scent and the effects on the skin apart of being a multitasking product can easily make anyone fall in love with it. Perfume Review: Love Osmanthus by Atelier Cologne

I have to admit I wasn’t a big fan of colognes, I had that idea in my mind they were more for men, poor generic scent, not long lasting, etc I just didn’t care to have a proper look and give a change, but since I studied perfumery and chemistry I started to appreciate more the quality that certain brands offer and Atelier Cologne is one of the game changers on reinvent colognes. Scentful: Designer Fragrance Subscription Box

In the perfume market there are thousands of options to choose and sometime we limit our selves to the most famous, the latest releases or certain brands and sure many times we can go test one, two, three and so on and we start to get confused, our nose can’t make any difference anymore and we get lost in the process, so the lovely options out there, should we spray in the paper or the skin. Now we heard plenty of times about subscription boxes full of make up or skincare, but what about perfume?di Continue reading “Scentful: Designer Fragrance Subscription Box”

Perfume Review: Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée by Chanel

If we have to talk about perfumes that are very popular but still I don’t like that it would be Coco Mademoiselle, a mega bomb of patchouli than even for my nose is too much and I think this perfume is quite popular because is Chanel and is far more modern than No 5 to use, but still Coco Mademoiselle came out about two years later than J’adore another perfume I can’t stand but is still popular and have those notes that were popular back then so every time I smell them I can’t help to think of a woman on her 40s, 50s. Probably another reason why I use even having a bottle is because..everybody wears it, just like Black Opium or La Vie est Belle is a perfume that would make you easily forgettable because so many girls have made it their signature fragrance. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée by Chanel”

Review: Thalgo, Prodige des Océans Le Masque

Review: Bioderma, Photoderm MAX Aquafluide SPF 50+

Sometimes finding a good SPF for a combination/Oily skin could be tricky, most of them would be too greasy, the would start to melt once you go underneath the sun, if it’s dry touch then the finish is too matte and non natural at all, so today I want to share one that I have been using and already finish: Photoderm MAX Aquafluide SPF 50+ by Bioderma. Continue reading “Review: Bioderma, Photoderm MAX Aquafluide SPF 50+”

Review: Charlotte Tilbury, The Icon Palette

With a new Charlotte Tilbury eye palette around the corner I wanted to talk about this one the “The Icon Palette” because one that is actually totally different from the rest that the brand has, it received negative and positive reviews, at the beginning I didn’t pay much attention to it and this summer i found myself using and reusing it a lot so here I share my experience. Perfume Review: Molecule 01 and Escentric 01 by Escentric Molecules

Niche perfumery has increased in popularity in the last couple of years thanks to some niche houses that opened up the way for more people to discover them and enjoy alternatives to the massive consume market. One of those brands was clearly Escentric Molecules with the 01. Molecule 01 and Escentric 01 were very popular back in the day, anyone following British beauty youtubers probably remember the hype back then. Over hyped/promoted products tend to put me off to try them out, but then this year I got closer to the brand with the release of Molecule 05 and Escentric 05 and specialised perfume writers and friends who tried it suggested me to review the 01 and 02 range because “they were amazing” So here we are. Review: Kiehl’s, Daily Refining Milk-Peel Toner

IMG-20200728-WA0010

I love when new type of products show up in the market with new formulas, textures… specially if we are talking about toners, some people consider them unnecessary mostly because they have an inaccurate concept about what a toner does or they tend to think about the first ones in the market that were pure alcohol with fragrance, I remember them when I was a teenager with oily skin and acne and how much damage they caused. Continue reading “Review: Kiehl’s, Daily Refining Milk-Peel Toner”

Review: Rene Furterer, Karite Nutri Intense Nourishing Shampoo and Mask

IMG_0738

One of the main issues I always had with my hair was the fact of how dry and damaged it always is, I always try different products but the fact that most of them have silicons that shows a fake healthy effect on hair is basically cheat to myself and make the issue even bigger so I decided to go back to some products I have tried before and worked well and as I repurchased it again i wanted to share so you will know what silicon-free products for the hair are out there. Continue reading “Review: Rene Furterer, Karite Nutri Intense Nourishing Shampoo and Mask”

Review: Bioderma, Photoderm AKN Mat SPF 30

IMG-20200705-WA0000

Because nothing looks better at your fifties than sunscreen in your twenties, actually if you start earlier even better. SPF such a topic to speak about, I’m actually writing a guide with all the information as there are so many myths and inaccurate information about this step, one I would share right now, SPF has to be used the entire year not just in the summer, even if it’s cloudy. Continue reading “Review: Bioderma, Photoderm AKN Mat SPF 30”

Review: AA Skincare, Frankincense & Rose Face Toner

IMG_20200118_193339

Toners could be one of the biggest allies on your skincare or one of your worst enemies depending on their formulation, I’m also against of paying huge amounts of money for a product that is supposed to be simple and not with a bunch of ingredients that should be supplied by serums, moisturisers etc. Continue reading “Review: AA Skincare, Frankincense & Rose Face Toner”

Book: Back Chat Beauty, The Beauty Guide for Real Life

20200417_080330

Because life is full of beauty hacks is always nice to have a book from where we can go back time to time to check certain information. I can only remember myself back in high school, totally clueless of how to look after my skin, my terrible make up techniques, I mean..damn! I wish books like this and the whole social media was so available back then, but now is good to refresh some knowledge with this beauty. Perfume Review: Neon Rose by Floral Street

IMG-20200508-WA0001

Summer is around the corner and definitely we started to feel those sunny and sometimes quite warm days, so what that basically means? warm skin makes any perfume become far more intense, and yes I have always been a powerful intense fragrance lover, florals and fresh clean scents are not my cup of tea mostly because I don’t tend to suit my personality and  most important they never last on my skin. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Neon Rose by Floral Street”

AirBrush_20200109195810

When we talk about about Trish McEvoy we normally think about makeup but not so much about the lovely perfume collection, except if we visit department stores and we can see them displayed and ready to try out.

Time ago I was lucky enough to try out Precious Pink Jasmine and really loved it so this time I went for a Floral Oriental option, the notes really called my attention so I’m really excited to share this Eau de Parfum called 100. Continue reading “Perfume Review: 100 by Trish McEvoy”
