Review: Bioderma, Atoderm Body Care Routine For Normal, Dry And Atopic Skin

For so many years I didn’t really pay attention to what I have been using as body cream or shower gel, I have to admit that most of the time I used to choose highly scented products, never read the ingredients list, it was like the only part of my skin that deserved good treatment was my face and totally left my body aside. It was not till I got a bit of eczema due to the harsh products I was using on my skin but also to wash my clothes that I ended up being more selective and lately had an urticaria caused by stress so really had to be careful with my body care routine to don’t make the condition even worst. Review: Thalgo, Prodige des Océans Le Masque

Review: Kiehl’s, Daily Refining Milk-Peel Toner

IMG-20200728-WA0010

I love when new type of products show up in the market with new formulas, textures… specially if we are talking about toners, some people consider them unnecessary mostly because they have an inaccurate concept about what a toner does or they tend to think about the first ones in the market that were pure alcohol with fragrance, I remember them when I was a teenager with oily skin and acne and how much damage they caused. Review: Rene Furterer, Karite Nutri Intense Nourishing Shampoo and Mask

IMG_0738

One of the main issues I always had with my hair was the fact of how dry and damaged it always is, I always try different products but the fact that most of them have silicons that shows a fake healthy effect on hair is basically cheat to myself and make the issue even bigger so I decided to go back to some products I have tried before and worked well and as I repurchased it again i wanted to share so you will know what silicon-free products for the hair are out there. Book: Back Chat Beauty, The Beauty Guide for Real Life

20200417_080330

Because life is full of beauty hacks is always nice to have a book from where we can go back time to time to check certain information. I can only remember myself back in high school, totally clueless of how to look after my skin, my terrible make up techniques, I mean..damn! I wish books like this and the whole social media was so available back then, but now is good to refresh some knowledge with this beauty. Review: Thalgo, Clarifying Water Essence

IMG-20200115-WA0003

Even when essences have been on the market for a while, not many brands produce them, actually they are kind of exclusive to medium to luxury ones and still you would need to know where to find them, but still many people wouldn’t know what they are, how to use it and most important they are not meant to replace any other product. Having oily/combination skin is a real issue, when I was a teenager I have suffered from a severe acne and due to the lack of information (or misinformation) I used to have a terrible skincare routine and today I’m paying the consequences of it. But the story doesn’t finish there acne could be hormonal, due to a bad a diet, stress and also using the wrong products could be causing it.Acne is not the only issue, having a prone skin to open pores, blackheads and blemishes is something that most of us have to deal with, that’s why today I wanted to share two products from Bioderma that are specific for this concerns. Perfume Review: Wanted Girl by Azzaro

C197A7B8-28EF-4C6E-9C2A-3A8C142374CA

As I have shared here, I consider myself an extremely olfactory person, I associate immense perfumes with people, moments or memories in a snap of my fingers. I also believe it to be one of my sharpest senses. Having said that, it is extremely important for me to use a memorable fragrance. Normally, I always opt for very hot fragranes; in my opinion, very seductive and feminine. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Wanted Girl by Azzaro”

Windle & Moodie, Ultra Nourishing Collection Review

windle

Anyone who has very damaged hair knows how hard it is to bring it back to life, one of the most important factors is knowing how to choose quality and free products such as parabens and silicones that give a false appearance of “healthy” when the reality is very different, the problem that has even happened to me is that when I use products free of these ingredients my hair is obviously shown as it is: dry, damaged, full of frizz, etc. I preferred to sacrifice myself and continue using harmful products just to tame my hair. I decided a couple of months ago that I wanted to have long hair again because I do not tolerate the same haircut that everyone now wears, so I decided to make it grow but it was healthy when the Ultra Nourishing line from Windle & Moodie was great help.
