With a single bite, you can feel the mango in your veins. Wild colours, endless skies and untamed happiness: breath taking South Africa becomes the backdrop for this expressionist burst of blackberries, mango and black pepper. A ripe fruit that reveals its complex flavours a cocktail of wild orris, black lotus and jasmine that leaves behind patchouli, vanilla and a hint of pink sugar.
The MAC X Lisa collection by MAC Cosmetics has been created in collaboration with female K-pop artist Lisa.
This collection includes each of her favourite Lisa products with completely new shades inspired by what she loves most. The eyeshadow palette, blush, highlighter, lipsticks as well as eyeliners come in a very striking and pretty shiny purple packaging.
One of the latest fragrances released by the niche and vegan brand Floral Street, Arizona Bloom is a dry amber floral scent with strong presence of coconut, at first sight I thought it was a summer scent but after trying it out during different seasons it certainly works well anytime, specially for certain type of mood or personality.
Mini Gifts and Stocking Fillers are probably one of the best things for me as they would normally be products that I wouldn’t buy them for myself but I end up using them a lot when I receive those random gifts, probably because they are everyday mini items we don’t pay that much attention but we don’t need to spend the money we don’t have to make a lovely gift either so here I share few options I have been trying and loving.
Crystal Noir is a fragrance that already has its years in the perfume market and continues to be a highly recommended perfume in the mass market because its price is usually quite affordable for Versace and the fragrance itself conquers easily especially during the cold season.

Lancôme unveils its luxurious beauty advent calendar for 2021. Each wonderful house is filled with a beauty surprise. The best way to make every day of the holiday season feel special and exciting. As we all know Lancôme has large selection of fragrances, skincare and make up, and this is a good way to try a little bit of everything and decide later what is worth repurchase in full size.
Almost a tradition from Lookfantastic is to release every year right after their advent calendar another great deal: The Beauty Chest, a great value of money as it normally includes full size products and different premium brands and a good mix of skincare, make up, haircare, etc.
Imagine yourself walking through a field of lilacs that just bloomed, that was basically how I felt when I tried Jacques Fath’s Lilas Exquis. Panouge Paris is in charge of creating fragrances for the brand as it does for Isabey, another niche brand that I never tire of recommending on my blog. In the case of Isabey, true floral notes were achieved, particularly gardenia, which is very difficult to obtain and the vast majority fail and end with an artificial scent. Something similar happened with lilacs, all the fragrances that I tested had an artificial smell far from the true one, so it caused me a lot of curiosity and I did not think twice when I saw that Jaques Fath had an exclusive fragrance of this flower.
ASOS released another Make UpGift Box with lovely products and brands all for £25

If you ask me about one brand with the best eye shadow palettes out there, well without a doubt I would said Huda Beauty, from the texture, quality, pigmentation to the shades selection. I previously tried two palettes from the brand I was quite surprised by the high quality that not even other top luxury brands have.
“The new original woman, La Belle Le Parfum, heightens her seduction with an addictive sensuality” If the original La Belle wasn’t delicious enough JPG released the latest La Belle Le Parfum taking everything to a next level, clearly not a fragrance for everyone and everything you need for others.
During the past weeks I have been trying out the Obagi Daily Hydro Drops Serum , a luxury dermatological brand that you can easily find at Skin Station an online store that allows you to browse and buy luxury skincare products at the most competitive prices and getting the professional help to choose the right products depending of your skin type and needs, in my case I was suggested to try out this Obagi serum that is special for normal, combination and oily skin, I tend to have issues with hormonal acne but t the same time I have dry patches and I know my skin is dehydrated so needed some extra help in that sense.
Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper 25, sixth scent to come from Kayali is a modern floral that plays with the boundaries of sweet and spicy to strike the perfect balance. Playing the warmth of spices such as pink pepper and saffron against floral notes of Bulgarian rose and royal lily, Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper is an electric scent that speaks of spontaneity and sensuality.

If we talk about avant-garde perfumery, without a doubt Escentric Molecules is one of the brands that tops the list, Molecule 01 basically became a cult fragrance. But Geza Schoen did’t stop there, he developed other lines of fragrances that didn’t have much publicity and became kind of a secret for people who are more deeply into the world of perfumery, until today that we are going to know more about the Schoen’s work.
The body butters from The Body Shop are one of my absolute favourites, the texture, the fragrance, Vegan and now they renovated the line creating a better eco friendly packaging and Fair Trade ingredients from around the world.
One of the latest products released by Omorovicza is this Midnight Renewal as the names suggest this is a night-time serum designed to instantly boost the complexion and restore skin’s youthful vitality while we sleep.
If we talk about designers who are doing playing the beauty game quite hard we have to mention Tom Ford, his perfumes became quite popular and just like other luxury brands like Jo Malone, Aerin, etc under the wing of Estee Lauder is has a high price tag, the question is..is really worth it or is just a brand hype? I have tried quite a few of the fragrances from this house and yes some of them are not worth the money at all and others are really good and that’s the case of Black Orchid.
A 13-piece makeup bundle

When it comes to make up I always found creamy texture far easier to work with than powders probably because I blending with my fingers I manage to build up everything faster and just like I want it, so this time I come with three new in from Sculpted by Aimee the successful brand from the Irish make up artist Aimee Connolly, I tried a couple of her products before and they are amazing, well the brand has this new Cream Luxe Collection which are basically are individual creamy blush, highlighter and bronzer, a minimalist luxe collection for a quickly make up look without so many products.
In the skincare world Omorovicza is a well established luxury brand an probably the most famous product from the brand is the Queen of Hungary mist, a multitasking face mist that I personally tend to use it mostly in my morning routine. Well now the brand decided to release the Queen of Hungary night mist to add an extra to our night skincare routine, so today we will see what makes an interesting option for our night skincare routine
One of my favourite moments of the month is to see what the Lookfantastic beauty box brings inside and June was not disappointing at all! a good selection of products and brands that for sure I would love to try out.
Facial oils are products I have integrated to my daily skin care routine as a way to nourish my skin and seal the routine to avoid transepidermal water loss, how days the formulas developed allow any skin type to be able to use them and this time I tried a facial oil from the brand Olverum, I never really tried the brand before but I knew they have a good focus on spa and well being. Continue reading “Review: Olverum, Pure Radiance Facial Oil”
The spring comes with some new releases in perfumery and certainly one of the most cheerful not only with the bottle design but also interesting notes is Toy 2 Bubble Gum by Moschino. Not long ago I posted about Toy 2 and how much I loved the fragrance, this new flanker as the name says includes bubble gum on it so I couldn’t be more excited about it. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Toy 2 Bubble Gum by Moschino”
When it comes to skincare routine I exfoliate my face twice a week, so after that I keep going with a serum and moisturiser although I tend to replace the moisturiser with a overnight mask as I consider them to nourish far better specially after an exfoliation, so far my favourites are the ones from Kiehl’s, this time I tried out the Calendula Petal-Infused Calming Mask. Continue reading “Review: Kiehl’s, Calendula Petal-Infused Calming Mask”
New release from the Mon Guerlain family, thinking already in the summer, I was curious to see if they improved the quality or not, as I like the original Mon Guerlain but is not really a favourite of mine, is a very generic perfume and I would much prefer other options from the brand hence why I don’t have it in my collection. I didn’t like any of the flankers in fact I have two bottles of two of them and I’m seriously thinking to sell them as I never reach out for them. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet by Guerlain”
