I love when new type of products show up in the market with new formulas, textures… specially if we are talking about toners, some people consider them unnecessary mostly because they have an inaccurate concept about what a toner does or they tend to think about the first ones in the market that were pure alcohol with fragrance, I remember them when I was a teenager with oily skin and acne and how much damage they caused. Continue reading “Review: Kiehl’s, Daily Refining Milk-Peel Toner”
One of the main issues I always had with my hair was the fact of how dry and damaged it always is, I always try different products but the fact that most of them have silicons that shows a fake healthy effect on hair is basically cheat to myself and make the issue even bigger so I decided to go back to some products I have tried before and worked well and as I repurchased it again i wanted to share so you will know what silicon-free products for the hair are out there. Because life is full of beauty hacks is always nice to have a book from where we can go back time to time to check certain information. I wish books like this and the whole social media was so available back then, but now is good to refresh some knowledge with this beauty. Even when essences have been on the market for a while, not many brands produce them, actually they are kind of exclusive to medium to luxury ones and still you would need to know where to find them, but still many people wouldn’t know what they are, how to use it and most important they are not meant to replace any other product. Continue reading “Review: Thalgo, Clarifying Water Essence”

As I have shared here, I consider myself an extremely olfactory person, I associate immense perfumes with people, moments or memories in a snap of my fingers. I also believe it to be one of my sharpest senses. Having said that, it is extremely important for me to use a memorable fragrance. Normally, I always opt for very hot fragranes; in my opinion, very seductive and feminine. Continue reading “Perfume Review: Wanted Girl by Azzaro”
Anyone who has very damaged hair knows how hard it is to bring it back to life, one of the most important factors is knowing how to choose quality and free products such as parabens and silicones that give a false appearance of “healthy” when the reality is very different, the problem that has even happened to me is that when I use products free of these ingredients my hair is obviously shown as it is: dry, damaged, full of frizz, etc. I preferred to sacrifice myself and continue using harmful products just to tame my hair. I decided a couple of months ago that I wanted to have long hair again because I do not tolerate the same haircut that everyone now wears, so I decided to make it grow but it was healthy when the Ultra Nourishing line from Windle & Moodie was great help. Continue reading “Windle & Moodie, Ultra Nourishing Collection Review”

Less is more, from the “No Make up Make up” to the Glass Skin many women realise that looking natural and fresh could be far nicer than the diva look, because is not nice when you can notice the excess of foundation from meters away, and far more important a natural makeup would make you look far younger and would help also a lot to keep your skin younger but not all foundations do that that’s why today I want to share the one I have been loving lately and is the Perfecting Powder Cream by Valmont. Continue reading “Valmont, Perfecting Powder Cream Foundation”
Retinol has been used as an ingredient in cosmetics for approximately 40 years. First as a treatment against acne, to later extend its use in the prevention and treatment of wrinkles and age spots, once proven effective as a skin renewal.
How does it act? Penetrating the deep layers of the skin, thanks to its light molecular weight, and stimulating collagen and elastin. What makes it unbeatable is that it also improves the appearance of the outer layer of the skin. It benefits the cell renewal process, so dead skin goes fast and new, brighter skin layers appear, it also regulates the keratinization process to soften the complexion. Continue reading “Murad, Retinol Youth Renewal Collection”
When you are fan of highlighters then is hard to resist to palettes like this, Bar Of Gold Palette from Charlotte Tilbury is a good option forme people who likes to alternate shades and not using always the same one and for the ones who wants to give a natural glow to a dull skin without leaving that extra pigmented diva look where the highlighter become way too obvious, a good option in shades for classy people I would call it. Continue reading “Charlotte Tilbury, Bar Of Gold Palette”
My story with removal has been always been a big drama for me, my skin is olive during the summer and pale during the winter and my hair is dark brown which makes any non pleasant to see hair very easy to actually see. I always struggled with hair removal methods, I always saw other girls saying so happily that they shave their legs or under arms and they look flawless, in my case the shaved legs for example would last me a day, the next one I would actually start to feel them like sand paper plus my legs would get full of ungrown hair. Waxing also never was good for me, my skin is very sensitive and even when the wax was almost cold still it managed to leave dark marks on my skin and it was not really good removing hair. Creams: same result as shaving, Little Classic Machines: This ones helped to make the hair growing a bit slower but I cannot resist the pain so much so normally I ended up doing half of my legs and shaving the other half. The past weeks I have been using two products from the Collagène Collection from Thalgo a French luxury marine cosmetic brand, Thalgo formulas are kind to skin and the environment: Do not contain parabens, mineral oils, propylene glycol, GMOs or ingredients of animal origin (Except beeswax and collagen) I think this is wonderful for having a healthy and safe skin care routine in a long basis and it was on the reasons I wanted to try the brand as my skin is sensitive and tends to react quite badly to nasty chemicals. Continue reading “Thalgo: Collagène Cream & Concentrate”

Today I want to share with you a brand that is far more affordable than the ones I tend to use normally, but also a VEGAN and ORGANIC option apart of course of being cruelty free, this is Green People.
They have launched some starter packs, this is one is the Superfood and cost around £10, and has three products on it: Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel all of them in a 30 ml bottles, for me is great to travel, for the ones like Christopher this 3 could last very long and you would have a chance to explore into a vegan beauty routine. Continue reading “Green People, SuperFood Starter Pack”
Now days many people loves to use tanning products hoping to avoid the fair pale skin, in my case there is nothing that I hate most than tanning my skin, I don’t use tanning products and I avoid the sun as much as I can, but the truth is that sometimes because of my job I must stay outdoors checking out things fo several hours underneath the sun and obviously I get red and then olive, the worst part is when I take off all my clothes and i see part of my neck tanned or red and the rest of my shoulders, one side of my arms, my legs etc totally white. I decided to try the Dare To Bare Bronzing Gel Pearls from Elizabeth Arden Continue reading “Elizabeth Arden: Dare To Bare Bronzing Gel Pearls”
I have to admit that GLAMGLOW masks are one of my favourites and this yellow packaging called my attention, the second thing that make me curious was the “instamud” 60 seconds, as you might know muds, clay and other type of mask needs 30-45 minutes on the face to work. So I have to admit I was a bit skeptical also the type of the bottle I had the feeling that would go empty very fast. Continue reading “GLAMGLOW Instamud 60 Second Pore Refining Treatment”
One more time I want to share with you some hair products that worked very well on my VERY complicated hair, very few products manage to work with my long wild hair so I truly love to write and recommend them because if it worked for me, it would work for anyone.
