Jeremy Scott has taken his creative daring much further. Fresh is a luxury fragrance presented in a package almost identical to a famous multi-purpose household cleaning spray. The designer’s idea is to oppose the luxury and preciousness of an essence of haute couture with the most ordinary and common packaging of products used for domestic cleaning, thus creating the maximum dichotomy between high and low, between exclusive and massive. He is not the first designer to break the mold under cover of this same argument, and although making an effort of abstraction we come to understand it from an artistic perspective and admit that point of impudence, provocation and humour.
- Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Ylang Ylang
- Heart Notes: Osmanthus, Peony, Raspberry
- Base Notes: Ambroxan, Woody Notes and Patchouli
- Gender: Feminine
- Concentration: Eau de Toilette
- Olfactory Family: Fruity Floral
This fragrance is a woody floral with fruity accords. It captivates from the start with the freshness of bergamot and tangerine allied to the exoticism of ylang ylang. In the heart, raspberry adds colour. Which reinforces the perfume with the elegance of the floral notes of white peony and osmanthus. The background accentuates the sophistication of the perfume, combining cedar wood, white patchouli and ambrox. It is not a sophisticated perfume, it is fresh, youthful, carefree and citrusy. In fact, although it is classified as a fruity floral aroma, for me it is more of a fruity citrus fragrance. It has a refreshing start in which bergamot and mandarin are clearly perceived. Then that fresh accord softens and sweetens thanks to the floral note and raspberry. This is a easy to wear everyday use perfume, it did last around 6 hours on my skin, the projection is not invasive at all, you would need o be very close to the person to smell a skin scent, pretty good option for an office and the summer.
