On my way to make a list of best spring/summer fragrances options I managed to test Precious Pink Jasmine by Trish McEvoy, I have had few make up items from the brand in the past but never tried any of the perfume range and I was looking for floral options for those who are not fan of “Too floral” perfumes, I was looking for something more delicate, unique in terms of notes and the right balance between floral and sweet, suddenly I remembered this fragrance so I decided to test it and it was a very nice surprise.
Precious Pink Jasmine is not actually a New In, it has been on the market since 2012, which is a good sign in times of limited editions and discontinued perfumes. This is a floral eau de parfum with floral citrus notes.

TOP NOTES: White Nectarine, Mandarin, Quince, Apple Blossom
HEART NOTES: White Tea, Neroli Absolute, Southern Magnolia, Pink jasmine
BASE NOTES: Cashmere Wood, Golden Amber, White Musk.

The first note that you can quickly detect is obviously jasmine, really sweet jasmine that after a couple of minutes starts to dry down for something less sweet towards fresh floral, I believe is the white tea reducing that first sweet impression mixing the jasmine with the apple blossom and the magnolia and that touch of citrusy from the mandarin also reduce the sweetness. So we go from a very sweet to a floral sweet and finish with a fresh floral. The fragrance takes it’s time to settle down on the skin so is not a fragrance to judge from the first sniff, it demands a proper try let it rest and see how it works with each pH.
SILLAGE AND LONGEVITY
As all floral fragrances the sillage is not huge, is actually medium, you can only notice it when you get close to the person but this could actually change in a very warm day, and that’s why I think is a good option because people will smell it, the person wearing it would also feel it but it won’t be heavy. When it comes to longevity again is moderate, it stay pretty long on the skin but after a couple of hours it becomes lighter and lighter.
Now my personal opinion: Not a fan of florals, they don’t go well with my skin so I’m extremely picky when it comes to add one to my personal collection, plus now days most florals tends to smell so similar. But I actually liked this option from Trish McEvoy because it’s very unique or at least from the hundreds of floral perfumes I have tried, this one has identity so for the ones who want something more exclusive. This is a good one.
