La Belle is back, and it’s even more sultry than ever; it exudes opulence and luxury in both its design and scent. The vibrant fragrance opens with a sweet burst of pear, which is met with tangy bergamot and uplifted by the elegant notes of jasmine. The real star of the show is vanilla, which gives this perfume an undeniable sweetness. Tonka bean adds to the creaminess; it lingers beautifully on the skin, creating a warm sensation that lasts long into the night. The aroma is captivating, addictive and seductive; it would make the perfect companion to any date night.
We have to talk about the bottle. It retains the iconic female silhouette shape that’s both sexy and stylish. The famous torso is now dressed in a deep red to emphasise the intense and full-bodied aroma within.
A delicious fusion of fruits, vanilla and tonka bean is what we can find in this lovely fragrance. While La Belle was massive success when it was released and remains a top seller, this new edition takes things a little bit further but after comparing them both I have to say that Le Parfum keeps the DNA but clearly has a twist specially on the pear note, I personally think is worth having both as each of them has a unique dry down.

Comparing to the original La Belle that is delicious but more a juicy fruity oriental scent, I found this one a bit more mature is not a juicy pear here, I would say is a creamy cosy pear that combined with the tonka bean and vanilla becomes a master oriental gourmand, extremely sweet but smoother and warmer giving a cosy effect compared again to La Belle that was more a fragrance that was basically at the dance floor the entire night far more suitable as a younger scent.
The fragrance is quite lovely and with a lot of personality but clearly not for everyone specially people who are not too keen on very powerful fragrances and want something lighter that would not call everyone’s attention, Projection and sillage are enormous, duration we have +10 hours easily.
