Review: Antipodes, Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream

We probably heard more about “probiotics” in food and of course the benefits of a healthy diet but lately in the beauty world we started to hear about them as part of skincare products. To make it simple the skin is a microbiome where you have all kind of bacteria good and bad that your body needs to keeps the balance, the probiotics are live bacteria that support the healthy bacteria in your body and as we age there are changes on the skin pH and microbiome so this is when helping out with skincare products with probiotics might be a good idea, so today I want to introduce one option that is 100% natural and Vegan.

I spoke about Antipodes plenty of times because I freaking love this brand from New Zealand, Eco-conscious, Vegan (except for few products), cruelty free and 100 natural, but mostly everytime I tried any of their products my skin loved them, so when I heard about the Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream I didn’t doubt it once, the main ingredients are Kalibiome AGE Probiotic and Hyaluronic Acid.

But what is Kalibiome AGE Probiotic? This is a high-performing innovative compound, helps to strengthen the skin barrier and contribute to increased skin elasticity and hydration, while simultaneously reducing roughness and redness.  Deliver a lifeline to tired and stressed skin by helping to boost water levels, thanks to hyaluronic acid and native New Zealand mamaku black fern. This night moisturiser is suited to all skin types, especially tired, sensitive or generally stressed skin. In-vitro testing of Kalibiome AGE Probiotic on fibroblast skin cells shows it has the ability to help increase skin elasticity & firmness, help increase collagen production, reduce roughness, and calm skin.

I started using this night cream like 3 weeks ago, after I cleanse put my serum I apply this cream and in the last week I added the Avocado Rose hip facial oil from the brand as a trial. The texture is really light, it absorbs super well and when it comes to results, I noticed from the first use that my skin was far more relaxed not so tight and tired, I do have decent sleeping hours so I know that my sleeping pattern is not affecting my skin, within a week I actually started to felt my skin far more glowy and looking fresh and young, no acne or rosacea at all, so far I got very well results with it I wasn’t expecting such a light weight formula being so effective.

The Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream is available in 60 ml at the Antipodes Website, Lookfantastic and Feelunique
