CBD is an acronym for cannabidiol. It is one of many compounds called cannabinoids that are extracted from the cannabis sativa plant, also known as hemp, for their many different benefits. Even though hemp seed oil and CBD come from the same plant, they do not have the same benefits because they’re not extracted the same way.
During the past weeks I have been using up this new range by The Body shop, which I was really looking forward to try out as I previously tried a Cannabis cleanser from another brand and it was my saviour for hormonal acne so I wanted to try this that includes far more products which is specially recommended for rosacea, atopic skin, hormonal acne and more.
CBD Soothing Oil-Balm Cleansing Mask
This cleansing mask soothes skin from dryness discomfort and removes impurities without leaving it feeling dry. Enriched with a blend of naturally derived CBD, hemp seed oil and squalane.

The way to use it is applying a small amount on the dry face and start a nice massage and leave it one for 5 minutes and wash it off with warm water.
I got on very well with this cleanser as it properly clan my skin without drying it (I have combination skin type) and it actually my face feel well moisturised and relaxed after I applied it, it helps a lot to control hormonal acne too, for anyone who wakes up with puffiness in the face, this one really helps to calm down the skin irritation and improve the feeling of “rested” skin.

CBD Replenishing Moisture Cream
A day cream with an indulgent texture and velvety feel, it’s enriched with a blend of naturally derived CBD, hemp seed oil and squalane. It instantly soothes dry areas of the skin and leaves it with a lasting soft feel. Skin looks more luminous and is left feeling less stressed.

I used this cream for my morning routine as it keeps my skin nourished during the whole day without becoming greasy allowing me to apply the SPF without creating a mess on my face, also I appreciate it’s anti rosacea and inflammatory effects in the morning to have a better awaking look with a natural glow

CBD Restoring Facial Oil

Great facial oil to avoid the water loss in the skin, it keeps the skin nourished and with a healthy glow, I personally used it only during the nights but you can do it both morning and night, as always the right way to apply facial oils is after the moisturiser to seal it and avoid the water loss at let the serums, cream and oils work properly during the night.

So far I absolutely loved this range, is great if your main concern is rosacea, dehydrated skin, and for people with the same issue with hormonal acne this a life savour because is not always easy to control a break out caused by hormonal changes and this actually gave me a hand to keep it under control and also get a healthier look with a nice natural glow. So far I recommend it.
