Review: Bobbi Brown, Stroke Of Luck Collection

A bit late but luckily still available we can see the new Stroke of Luck Collection by Bobbi Brown, this is a limited edition created to celebrate the Chinese New Year, not only for the gorgeous packaging but also the reddish warm shades. The collection includes one eye shadow palette, one highlighter and three lipsticks.

STROKE OF LUCK EYE PALETTE

Not too big, not too small, just the perfect side with lovely shades. Creamy, not chalky at all, easy to blend even when they are quite pigmented this palette has five peachy shades quite easy to use everyday and that are suitable for any skin tone, this is a must have on a make up collection as you can’t get it wrong with these colours actually never saw Bobbi Brown releasing hard to use eye palettes. Quite important this is Paraben-free; sulfate-free; sulfite-free; gluten-free.

Shades:

  • Damask Ball Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow
  • Champagne Toast Metallic Eye Shadow
  • Peach Blossom Matte Eye Shadow
  • Midnight Walk Chrome Metal Eye Shadow
  • Fever Dream Chrome Metal Eye Shadow

Stroke Of Luck Eyeshadow Palette is £32 and is available at Bobbi Brown website

STROKE OF LUCK HIGHLIGHTING POWDER

This is a pearl infused highlighter in the shade “Opal Glow” a pearly rose shade that gives an instant natural glow effect, I personally prefer a natural highlighter look but if you prefer to go further you can easily build a powerful highlight with this one. Suitable for any skin tone.

Stroke Of Luck Highlighting Powder is £36.50 and is available at Bobbi Brown Website

STROKE OF LUCK LUXE METAL LIPSTICK

Just to finish we have three lipsticks shades, one is a nude (Lantern Light) and two dark reds (Firecracker and Red Fortune), I only tried the nude one and so far is well pigmented and stay on the lips for quite a while (except obviously if you drink or eat) for dry lips is ideal because is very creamy and it manage to moisture the lips very well without needing to apply lip balm previously.

Stroke Of Luck Luxe Metal Lipsticks are £29 each and they are available at Bobbi Brown website

So far is a lovely collection with products and shades that I would actually use, in fact they are practically basics of any make up collection, Bobbi Brown has always been quite sophisticated when it comes to make up they never come with anything crazy or extremely exotic, simple and classy all what you need.
