January is here and part of the 2021 resolution is to improve my skincare routine and what couldn’t be better than a great beauty box deal. LookFantastic released The Idol Collection beauty box, which are 7 product (3 of them full size) from luxury well known brands, it’s £95 but the content inside is worth £192 so let’s see what is inside.
CONTENT
REN, Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream (50ml): Probably many of you already known or heard about REN a luxury cruelty free natural brand, a day cream enriched with a protection complex. This is a full size and it’s worth £36.
REN, Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm (5ml): This a night cream that I have actually used before, and it did a good job, never broke out I could even use face oil on top of it without getting greasy. This is a sample size and it would have a value of £4
MURAD, Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream (50ml): Another night cream that I have used and worked very well for my pores and blackheads as it has retinol in the formula. This is a full size and is worth £70.
MURAD, AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (200ml): The new trend is to cleanse with AHA/BHA products to remove the death cells on your skin and then replace mechanical exfoliation. This is a full size and is worth £38.
LIVING PROOF, Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo (60ml): Handy travel size dry shampoo, it’s worth £10
DERMALOGICA, Age Smart Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque (15ml): Dermalogica is a brand that receives really good reviews on their products so a face mask is more than welcome. This a sample size and is worth £15
KATE SOMERVILLE, ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment (15ml): Now available in Lookfantastic I heard so many good things about this brand so I’m really looking to do this exfoliation treatment. This is a small size and is worth £21.
Now Lookfantastic claims this has a value of £192 and yes the calculation gives that amount.
I think you get really good products from premium brands some full size other to try out that actually would take you a while to finish so is actually a investment for several months at least in my case it takes quite a while to finish all those products even using on everyday use, probably it would have been nice to add a toner, SPF or serum to have a complete skincare routine for day and night but you are practically sorted with this box, I think is a really good value.
