Review: IT Cosmetics, Confidence in a Cleanser

Every time I used to talk about IT Cosmetics was mostly about their make up range but never really tried their skincare products that the vast majority have been released in the last two years so they are still a bit new plus the latest launches. Considering that IT cosmetics is a brand quite focused on very sensitive skin, eczema and rosacea mainly I decided to give it a try, I don’t suffer from a very severe redness but is there specially when I use harsh products or the weather makes my skin getting quite sensitive, I normally have combination type but lately it has been quite dry.One of the main things to keep in mind when it comes to rosacea is to avoid harsh cleanser and over cleanse, and I know we got used to double cleanse, because of makeup or SPF, so if we are going to do that try to find gentle product that wouldn’t cause more irritation.

The texture of Confidence in a Cleanse is like a semi liquid balm, it can easily remove the make up, even the mascara and allows our hands to give a good massage to our face. I like it because it leaves the skin well moisturised and not tight. in the key ingredients we can find:

  • Collagen: Skin-firming protein that supports elasticity for a youthfully smooth appearance.
  • Niacin: B vitamin that improves skin barrier function and elasticity, promotes a more even skin tone, and helps combat the appearance of acne and hyperpigmentation.
  • Ceramides: Naturally occurring lipids that retain moisture and help reinforce the skin barrier.
  • Peptides: Help reduce the appearance of wrinkles for the look of smoother, firmer skin.
  • Colloidal Oatmeal: Natural anti-irritant that moisturizes, softens and smooths skin. Excellent for sensitive skin types.

The list of ingredients shows a cleanser with a lot of relaxing, calming oils and not so much soap or at least not the harsh types , it doesn’t create unnecessary foam when you rinse it off either. This is for all skin types and yes I mentioned specially rosacea because I know that sometimes it could be complicated to find a gentle product that would’t get the condition even worst.

It worked very well for me and stopped getting my face so red after the cleanse and is quite long lasting as you need a very little amount of product to massage your face, so yes I recommend it

IT Cosmetics, Confidence in a Cleanser is available in 148 ml at IT Cosmetics website, Boots and Cult Beauty.
