Review: Thalgo, Prodige des Océans La Creme

Absolute treatment experience that creates a new youth for your skin. Silky to the touch, fine and enveloping at the same time, this exceptional formulation with liquid crystals with a structure analogous to the skin’s lipid structure blends with the skin for perfect comfort.

The summer was a bit harsh for my skin which is normally combination but due to the hot weather or the hyaluronic acid I have been using it started to get a bit dry and my rosacea was showing up on, which is a sign that my routine needed a change. I have been using the cream from the Prodige  des Oceans range from Thalgo, I have previously used and loved the serum from this premium collection of treatment products, featuring the perfect fusion of effectiveness and sensoriality, Prodige des Océans contains Intelligence Marine Regenerative at its core. This patented innovation, which targets the 64 proteins key to youthful-looking skin, is combined with a ‘body-shaping’ plant duo to enhance the silhouette.

From the ingredient list we can find that:

  • A marine-based rejuvenating facial cream
  • Contains Intelligence marine Régénérative to re-hydrate skin & reduce blemishes
  • Blended with two weights of ultra-pure hyaluronic acid to promote skin renewal
  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles & fine lines while re-defining facial contours
  • Loaded with algae extract & fundamental sugar to protect cells from oxidation stress
  • Infused with Shea Butter for repairing & hydrating benefits
  • Unveils a firmer, smoother, plumper, more elastic, radiant, even-toned & younger looking complexion

This cream is for all skin types and can be used during the day or the night, I personally prefer to use it during the night to leave it working while I sleep, but the texture is so light, smooth and leaves a lovely silky sensation on the skin that can easily be used during the day. Now from my personal experience I have noticed a reduction of the rosacea, waking up with a healthy look instead of all my face congested, having sensitive skin I’m quite prone to acne and break, specially during that time of the month, it didn’t cause any harm and actually helped to control the Transepidermal water loss (TEWL), my skin stopped being so dry and tight.
