Not long ago in the blog we talked about essences, more particularly the Lumiere Marine, Clarifying Water Essence by Thalgo, this particular product was mostly for improve the skin tone,  any steins caused mostly because of the sun, pigmentation, or just bring back to life any dull skin. But just finished another essence from this brand and is the Micro-Peeling Water Essence, yes… now we are going for the texture. As someone who sadly suffered a nasty acne in my teenager days, and still today my skin is extremely hormonal dependent is very common that the texture of it is not the best, is really hard to tame but at the same time is so sensitive that I cannot jump on strong acids and formulas, the job has to be done slowly and with gentle products to avoid reactions. Now the word “Micro-Peeling” for many people might sound like “harsh” or “I better don’t try” but essences are always quite smooth with the work they do so if you ever wanted to try the world of micro-peeling this might be a good start.

This water essence contains acids from Fermented Micronised Marine Algae, glycolic acid and gluconic acid for a gentle micro-exfoliation that gradually renews the skin, it would make your skin sensitive specially to the sun but no crazy sensitive either ALWAYS use a SPF.

This essence can be used daily during the day or night, I personally prefer to use it in my night routine to let it do the job while I sleep and I’m not exposed to the day light, I can easily mix it with another serums or facial oils as long as they they don’t contain other acids. same with the moisturiser. I can assure that the feeling when I wake up and go to wash my face and feel it far smoother and looks far better on it’s texture is linked to this product, like a week ago I finished and noticed the difference between use it or not. that’s the thing with essences we don’t really appreciate the changes till we stop using them and the skin feels the change.

This is probably one of the best options for people out there wanting to improve the texture of their skin but cannot tolerate, retinol, acids, serums etc or if you want to start but don’t want to get freak out with a harsh start.
