Summer is around the corner and definitely we started to feel those sunny and sometimes quite warm days, so what that basically means? warm skin makes any perfume become far more intense, and yes I have always been a powerful intense fragrance lover, florals and fresh clean scents are not my cup of tea mostly because I don’t tend to suit my personality and most important they never last on my skin. But then I managed to try Neon Rose from Floral Street, which ok the bottle is stunning, the brand always had that, now the name…Roses are nice depending of the type of rose, depending of how is blended, but normally when we think of rose is about a quite sweet, mature, intense fragrance that is more linked in our mind as romantic, sexy, feminine but then “Neon” and here is when the things became interesting with this perfume.
Pear, Galbanum, Bergamot, Cassis Kir, Apple Blossom, Sichuan Pepper, Cyclamen, Juniper Berry, Jasmine Egypt, Angelica, White Cedarwood, Peach Nectar, Crisp Amber
Did you see rose in the notes? I honestly checked the list many times and unless the brand forgot to put it, these fragrance has no roses in it, so what a perfume that calls itself Neon Rose and has not actual rose on it? the approach from Floral Street was to emulate this particular ingredient blending different notes that would give hints of rose but not towards the one we all know and we find in so many scents in the market, it’s a young, cheerful, clean floral, is a bit sweet but is more a fresh clean scent, and the name “Neon” suits the high vibes sensation it gives.
Once in the skin could last easily 8 hours, the sillage is not overwhelming people would feel it if they get very close to you, which is great if you share space with people like an office and don’t want to give a headache to someone. Pretty sure I will use this a lot during the spring summer time.
I hope you enjoyed the post and keep discovering more fragrances
