2019 was a good year for some perfume houses and not so good for many others, I think the list of “Worst in Fragrance 2019” would be much longer because many luxury but mass consumption houses have launched new versions of existing perfumes , the release of new perfumes was very poor and many others only chose to launch flankers without much to say or collectable bottles. In this list you will find the best of both mass consumption and the few of niche houses, all from different brands.
These are the best fragrances released in 2019, not the most popular or best seller, there is no a specific order, all fragrances on this list are five stars.
JEAN PAUL GAULTIER, La Belle
One of the most hyped fragrances in 2019 without a doubt is La Belle by Jean Paul Gaultier, this is a vanilla fruity sweet, a mix of gourmand with oriental. Extremely sexy with a good sillage and very long lasting, very nice option for sweet tooth noses.

MUGLER, Angel EDT (2019)
Mugler reformulated the old Angel Eau de Toilette and changed the design of the bottle so it would be able to stand by itself, I’m not a fan of reformulations but Mugler did a fantastic job as many people who didn’t like Angel ended up changing their mind once they tried this new baby. This one is also Sweet Fruity Gourmand with some floral notes.

LALIQUE, Soleil
Lalique apart of the wonderful crystal pieces also creates quite unique fragrances that most people don’t know much about, the latest one is Soleil, a perfume that starts as white floral citrusy and dries down as a praline soft sweet perfect for the warm season.

FLORAL STREET, Electric Rhubarb
Floral Street, the niche British house latest release is Electric Rhubarb a mix of white florals and powdery sandalwood combined with the scent of English rhubarb and an unexpected blast of salty sea air. A fresh creamy fruity fragrance sweet but not overwhelming excellent option for people who are not fan of extremely sweet perfumes.

AZZARO, Wanted Girl
The house Azzaro tends to go mostly for masculine fragrances but time to time they release feminine or unisex ones, last year they came out with Wanted Girl the version for her from the very famous “Wanted”. An oriental white floral gourmand with touches of Tonka bean and Dulce de leche (Latin American fudge) very sexy and long lasting.

MUGLER, Angel Eau Croisière
This was the summer limited edition of Angel that Mugler releases each year, this time was a lovely summer sunny cocktail of fruits keeping the DNA of Angel, truly gorgeous to the point that it was sold out everywhere in less than a month so keep an eye this year as Mugler will probably release a new summer edition.

ROCHAS, Mademoiselle Rochas Couture
Elegant and vibrant, Mademoiselle Rochas Couture opens on a combination of spicy notes, with pink pepper, pear and bergamot. This is a woody aromatic a bit balsamic perfume that has sea salt on the notes, an ingredient that is becoming popular on perfumes lately to give balsamic salty touch,misex with cypress and tonka bean.

JUICY COUTURE, Viva La Juicy Bowdacious
Viva La Juicy Bowdacious is a fragrance that splashes notes of Italian Mandarin, Williams Pear and Honeydew. At the heart, the solar vibrancy of the Tiare Flower gives a kiss of sunny skies, ending with the warmth and creamy addiction of Tonka Bean and Coconut milk.
