Today I wanted to bring some affordable perfume ideas that work as good (or better) as many luxury brands and these are Babe Power and Boss Babe by Missguided, I have to be honest and say that I have never shopped anything from there, but their fragrane range called my attention.the truth is that I was trying several luxury perfumes and the reality is that in the last two years there were no big releases or rather there were heavy launches by part of several perfume houses, fragrances for which it was not worth paying a high price so I it happened to go to the search of more economic options but of good quality.

I had already heard good comments about the first fragrance launched by Missguided: Babe Power, then three other options were launched but on this occasion I only tried two of the four.
I liked the bottle with the shape of a can of soda, something so simple that I did not see any other brand I have used so far. It is only available in a single size of 80 ml. And now we will see the specific characteristics of these two.

MISSGUIDED: BABE POWER

NOTES

• Top Notes: Grapefruit Zest, Sour Cherry, Pink Pepper, Apple, Pineapple, Rhubarb
• Heart Notes: Orange blossom, Peony, Jasmine
• Base Notes: Vanilla, Cotton Candy, Musk, Crystal Amber

This fragrance has a hint of Hypnotic Poison by Dior, but NO is not a dupe it just goes in that direction, it would be more a younger version and not so overwhelming, Babe Power is sweet fruity with a very interesting evolution once its sprayed on the skin, the first hours it would be a explosion of lollipop or actually cotton candy, very sweet with the vanilla, pineapple and cherry, it could be perceived as a fragrance for very young women but wait for it, that’s only an entrance, after a couple of hours it transforms to what a said Hypnotic Poison, the musk and amber take over the cotton candy and we have the evolution from a young sweet and sparkly woman to a sexy, attractive and cheeky one wearing a long dress an heading to VIP party.

The sillage I have to say is nothing crazy just the average one, longevity wise in my case lasted about 7 hours which at some point I can forgive is not all day fragrance because the price tag is not that high and I have tried other expensive luxury perfumes for example the last 3 years releases from Armani, Guerlain, Dior, etc they last from 1 to 3 hours so from my point of view is not a big deal in this case. If you are in a budget and want something similar to those brands for a 1/4 of the price and better performance go for it.

MISSGUIDED: BOSS BABE

NOTES

• Top Notes: Bergamot, Pear, Pistachio
• Heart Notes: Rose, Almond Milk, Orange, Magnolia
• Base Notes: Patchouli, Amber, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood

Boss Babe is a oriental floral fragrance where the main notes that you would smell are tonka bean and almond, the tonka bean mixed with the sandalwood gives that proper daytime balsamic perfume easily to wear, but I haven’t noticed the rose that much just a bit of orange, is mostly an almondy perfume.

Is not as powerful as Babe Power but it goes in that way, I would said is a light oriental floral, more oriental than floral, is probably less long lasting on skin, in my opinion is mostly a summer day option, I liked it, is not expensive and for an everyday use at work or school or any closed enviroment that you don’t want to annoy people with your fragrance is actually really nice.

As I said before if you are in a budget or you don’t really want to spend a lot of money in a luxury fragrance but you want something that smell luxurious and not cheap drugstore then Missguided have very lovely options to keep in mind, really liked them so I really recommend them.
