Perfume Review: Stories by Eliza Grace

InstaSave-2

We accumulate memories through the smell of that there is no doubt, whether meals, places, people, special moments are recorded in our memory many times through notes that many times we do not know what they are called but when we automatically feel transported, this is one of the great wonders of perfumes and today I want to share with you two releases that would bring some memories to you or you would leave that memory in someone. A new gender-inclusive Fragrance line that weaves a narrative from mislaid memories, childhood dreams and long-forgotten hope; STORIES by Eliza Grace is a journey for the senses.

Founder of the perfume house, and fragrance designer, Tonya Kidd-Beggs, curated each blend as a testament to the power that fragrance played in her own life. Created in Grasse under the guidance of her perfumer, Tonya selected only the finest raw materials sourced from all over the world together with time-honoured traditional methods to formulate these first two STORIES.

Stories No1 and Stories No2 are both Eau de parfum Unisex fragrances, totally different one from the other.

STORIES NO 1

Citrus notes of Bergamot, Grapefruit and Orange Blossom open this fragrance, giving way to the deep warmth of Cedarwood, a delicate touch of Jasmine, Heliotrope and a Fig Tea accord. The mystery of this perfume is revealed in its blend of Amber, vibrant
Sandalwood and hint of Vetiver.

Probably the only citrus perfume I have ever fell for in my life, is a gorgeous citrus with a hint of sweetness but just the right amount to keep the fresh impact of the top notes, I have never felt anything similar before, the sillage is right on point specially fora hot summer day, now the big question..the longevity, citrus-fresh perfumes have a very short life on the skin, this one last a good amount of hours, the blend is perfectly made to last and keep the fresh feeling.

Honestly I was so surprised with the performance of Stories No 1, I have tested so many citrus fragrances before and they all smell similar and they fade after an hour, this one last and have a very unique DNA, so yes it’s worth the blind purchase.

STORIES NO 2

This blend open with notes of Bulgarian Rose, spiced with Ginger, Cardamom and Green Tea. Honey Tobacco tones balance Cedarwood at the heart of this woody fragrance. Opponax, Tonka Bean and Patchouli enhance the full-bodied perfume while Amber and Musk leave a lasting impression.

In the other we have Stories No 2, a powerful sweet with a hint of spicy ginger, always a good mix with Bulgarian Rose, This a option for those who like a powerful, long lasting an unique fragrance that would make people ask you what perfume are you wearing, actually the few times I used it in public places I got compliments and some askedme what perfume it was.

Stories No1 & No2 are available in the sizes 15ml / 30ml / 100ml HERE (non affiliate link)

HANDS AND BODY OPTIONS

The range also consists of hand and body wash and hand and body lotions in both Fragrance No1 and No2. These are great to improve the longevity of the perfume or avoid them getting mixed with other fragrances.
The lotion is deceptively light, while providing ultra nourishment and hydration for the skin. Shea butter, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, marula seed oil and argan kernel oil deliver a nutrient-rich, soothing and hydrating body and hand treatment.
The wash is gently foaming leaving skin cleansed and moisturised. A combination of aloe vera, coconut oil and pro-vitamin B5 work together to protect and invigorate.

Two gorgeous addictions to the British niche perfumerie that I would truly recommend to test, specially if you like unique perfumes.

Love xoxo
