When Beautyblender announced the release of a foundation I was quite surprised as we all know the brand for the magnificent makeup sponges, so I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when Bounce came up, but after tested it for a couple of days in a row I put my hands up now is one of my favourite foundations for several reason not only the performance. Recently another member joined the family and again another lovely surprise: Re-Dew Setting spray, plus the two new Electrical Violet sponges because you never have enough beautyblenders specially if you work with make up.
BOUNCE FOUNDATION
As I said this was nice surprise specially coming from a brand with no previous experience on the matter, at the beginning there was a little issue with the shades but honestly is part of the learning curve so is easy to forgive compared to other luxury brands with many years of experience and still a terrible shade selection, it was actually nice to know that Beautyblender listen to the customers and added more shades, so that problem is solved.
Now before I share my experience, I want to share an important thing that actually put this foundation on the top of my list and is the ingredients:
Highlighted Ingredients:
– Hyaluronic Acid: Supports natural moisture and helps prep skin for a smooth canvas.
– White Birch Extract: Soothes and brightens skin.
Ingredient Callouts: Free of mineral oil, sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehyde, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, triclocarban, and fragrance. This product is also vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free.
Packaging: It does look premium with a quite unique and original design, but I have to admit that I find it a bit messy when it comes to apply the product, as it is made for place your sponge there or to take out some of the product and serve it from the white plastic, which in all cases mean that you will have to clean it later otherwise it would be gross, I personally never tend to pour the foundation over the sponges because they absorb quite a lot of product and because I find it easier to use my fingers to put the product over my face and then I start to blend with it.
Performance: Bounce claims to be full coverage with matte finish, for Normal, Dry, and Combination Skin type. Well as I mentioned many times I have combination/oily skin so I always look for foundations that would not leave my skin shinny and greasy, that it would be long lasting and no start to melt away with a little bit of warm weather. First impression when I applied it, matte but not way too much, which is great otherwise anyone can spot the foundation from meters away, this one has a very natural matte effect and it’s full coverage but not cakey, no oxidation no surprises the colour you see is the one you will get, it didn’t went greasy duirng the day and after applying it normallyaround 8 am and remove it around 7 pm it actually the most of it stayed there, it’s long lasting without creating lines or getting stuck anywhere. I used everyday for one week and didn’t make my skin break out, does why I talked about the ingredients as my sensitive skin tend to react pretty bad with crappy ingredients.
So my final review of it, if you are going to invest on a high end foundation always look for ingredients, performance and shade selection, Bounce managed to cover extremely well all those aspects as is a foundation that is really worth the money, So yes Iwould totally recommend it.

RE-DEW SETTING SPRAY
This bad boy couldn’t showed in my life a better time, after black listed the brand that produces the setting spray that used to be my favourite because of their really mean PR people, I was in the search of another one to replace it and you know how picky I’am with setting sprays, and boom! Re-Dew was launched.
I have to congratulate Beautyblender because they really work hard on get the best formulations with friendly ingredients that perform so wonderful, after the experience with Bounce I was more optimistic to try the new member of the brand and so far so good it freaking surprise me again. The finest mist I have ever tried, the most relaxing and beautiful sensation I felt over my face, no shimmer added to it, doesn’t leave the skin greasy. Re-dew came to stay in mylife does for sure.
