Created by Marie Salamagne, “For this new story of Amo, my initial idea was to depict a
rainbow garden, full of sparkling and blooming flowers. To translate this optimistic and joyful imprint, I started from the Italian bitter accord from the Amo Original that I faceted with prismatic florals (Jasmine, Plum Blossom, Peony) and sparkling fruits (blackcurrant, lemon). I wanted to highlight a positive energy through a multiplicity of surprising facets”
The Amo bottle is reinvented and dressed with an original iridescence created using innovative PrismaTM technology, which illuminates the flacon with a rainbow of colours. The iconic “flower heel”, was designed and patented by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1939, so, a flower becomes the detail around the neck of the bottle to celebrate this new addition to the Amo collection.
At the top of the fragrance, classic Italian Bitters mix with yuzu flowers and blackcurrant, followed by a fruity-floral heart with pink peony, jasmine and plum blossom. Finally, the drydown creates an enveloping sensuality with a blend of vanilla, light woods and musk.
Sillage and Longevity wise this fragrance is far less sweeter than the first Amo Ferragamo, which is good for the people who found too sweet, or for the ones who are looking for a floral version, considering all these I can say that the sillage and longevity performance is pretty good (6-8 hours) It’s a perfume that really settle down on the skin, doesn’t smell synthetic in any moment, a very good option for EDT.
