I have to admit that I have never been a big fan of Kenzo fragrances, specially from the iconic Flower By Kenzo which I have to say is very unique and has an own identity that’s the reason why the years pass but it never goes out of fashion. I know many people that love flower by Kenzo and others don’t as I belong to that group I was a bit scared or reviewing this product even when I always try to be the most neutral perfumist when it comes to review a fragrance. So I basically opened the box and started to analize the bottle desing, is the classic shape of flower by kenzo bottles, but red and it’s amazing how changing the colour of the bottle to a delicate red glass you can already get another perception, red bottles in perfumery tend to generate a bigger impact, it’s more classy, more seductive, it genereates more cusiosity on the person, and is exaclty the same bottle with the classic poppy inside but it really has a special charm and gives a hint of what we are going to find inside isnot another flower by Kenzo version.
NOTES
- TOP NOTES: Blood Mandarin, Bergamot, Orange
- HEART NOTES: Frangipani, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Peach, Ylang-Ylang
- BASE NOTES: White Musk, Vanilla, Sea Salt, Patchouli
Fragrance Type: Eau de Toilette
This a light sweet, white floral-citrus fragrance, you can actually smell the original Flower By Kenzo but the heart notes and specially the base notes are little bit different, it’s sweeter, very light but very long lasting at the same time just like the original version. I have to admit..I really liked this version is similar but at the same time different, quite unique Ihave to say, if a you a “Flower Lover” you would love this red edition and if you don’t like Flower you would probably still love this.
I think it’s a four season fragrance, not too overwhelming for the hot weather but intense and long lasting enough for cold weather, easy to wear everyday, I just made it up with Kenzo, I really loved this perfume, so I would need to repurchase it to have stock because this is a limited edition. My advice give it a try before it runs out of stock, trust me you will love it.
Love xoxo

Have you tried the World by Kenzo? I would like to have a more serious review than those random sites where people write whatever without even test the perfume. And I don’t like to ask to the perfume shop ladies to take them out to try, as they always start looking at you expecting to buy it. Annoying!
