Pevonia, Ligne Rose RS2 Range

Not long ago it was very difficult to get specific products for skin with rosacea, today some products have appeared but a brand that has a 100% dedicated line to rosacea is Pevonia.
This is the Ligne Rose RS2 line, which has a cleanser, lotion, concentrate and face cream.

Rosacea is a condition of the skin that affects a large number of people, is that annoying redness in the face, mainly in the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead, although the rosacea is chronic there are products that help to match the tone and calm the skin especially if there are pimples, this type of skin is sensitive so it is advisable to use products that are not strong.

Pevonia is an American brand, which although focused on skin care in spa, also has its range of products available in different retailers. Cruelty free, made with organic extracts, Pevonia maintains a harmonious balance with precious resources by offering fully recyclable, completely biodegradable or reusable packaging, and refrains from any form of animal testing. Free from parabens, alcohol, lanolin, mineral oil, PABA, artificial colors, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfate, and urea.

GENTLE CLEANSER

The first step of any skincare routine is cleansing, this cleanser is a very light with Green Tea and Chamomile, the best way to use it and get better results is doing ta proper massage before rinsing it off, it doesn’t leave the skin greasy or dry and tight as some cleanser use to do and this is very important as most of the skin problems come to use very aggressive cleanser and toners that leave the skin too sensitive or thing and end up causing more damaged that not even a good moisturizer or serum can fix after, with rosacea is very important to use a gentle cleanser and this one definitely did the job perfectly.

This lotion is a high concentration of actives and alcohol free very important for sensitive skin, the formulation helps as redness diffuser, to cool and heal and as vasoconstrictor, lotion is a very important part of the routine and cannot being replaced by other products like serums, micellar water or essences, the formulation has to be soft and alcohol free to avoid skin getting thin and over sensitive, so this lotion is really recommend as you could see the ingredients.

After the lotion comes the serum or in this case concentrate. Texture wise is not sticky and it doesn’t leave the skin greasy or heavy like some products do, this is really nice if you are the type of person who applies serum/concentrate twice a day, in the morning is nice to have  something texture friendly with moisturizers and makeup. When it comes to results it helps to reduce redness and gives a better and healthier aspect to the skin tone, quite like the result.

The final step, this cream is quite light if you work it in your hands before applying in the face, is very long lasting as you would only need a very little amount per use, texture wise is pretty nice specially for combination/oily skin types, I did like it terms or reducing redness using natural ingredients .

CONCLUSION

Rosacea has always been a problem since I was a teenager and had an awful acne, now that I’m an adult my rosacea tend s to show up pretty badly time to time, and never found any range of products that works specifically for this issue.I loved the high quality and the results I get while I do the full routine, after de 3rd day I saw a huge change on my skin, I didn’t need to put BB Cream or a high coverage foundation particularly on my nose. I really recommend this range if you suffer of rosacea.
