Review: Charlotte Tilbury, Legendary Lashes Volume 2

I have to admit that Charlotte Tilbury is on my top 10 of favourites brands, probably even in the top 5, I really love the concept of glamorous but natural and classy makeup that Charlotte has, and you can see that on her tutorials and all the makeup looks she recreate on famous women. Today I want to talk about one mascara the brand launched not long ago and that I have been loving: The Legendary Lashes Volume 2

This product is Paraben free. It is also free from Mica, Talk, Alcohol, Fragrance, Gluten and Nuts.

Aqua/Water/Eau, Synthetic Beeswax, Paraffin, Stearic Acid, Acacia Senegal Gum, Triethanolamine, Butylene Glycol, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax/Cire De Carnauba, Polybutene, Vp/Eicosene Copolymer, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Potassium Sorbate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Sodium Stearate, Iron Oxide (Ci 77499).

This new máscara is a reformulation of the previous Legendary Lashes, the main goal is to get volume without a 10 lays of product.

What you see on the photo are my lashes without the mascara and the other ones with 2 lays of it, I could probably built the lashes and do better lays because the pencil is very friendly for building something that doesn’t happen for example with the Marc Jacobs mascara which is one of my favs. I must admit that 2 lays is more that enough even with one you can already get a very natural and long lashes.

It doesn’t flake away, I don’t have to destroy my lashes when it’s time to remove it, I also love the fact that after half an hour the lashes start get separated but with volume, getting that way natural strong volume effect, no need at all of fake eyelashes.

I really liked this new mascara, the formula, the packaging, the pencil, it might be pricey but it totally worths it specially if you are like me that I’m not a big fan of using fake eyelashes.

Have you tried Charlotte Tilbury products?
